Our Rich History

As we start off this blog, we think it's important for our readers to know a little bit about us. Nassau Fire Apparatus is a company with a long and rich history. So, let's start there.

Nassau Fire Apparatus has been known by many names over the years. We started off as N & A Auto Services, Inc. in 1963. The company was started by Nicholas Buglione and focused on major and minor car and truck repairs. In 1986, fabrication and body repair was added to the expanding menu of services and eventually the company because a full-service emergency vehicle and equipment company.

In 1991, Nicholas's oldest son, Andy, took over the family business and added fire and rescue repair, sales, and service. In 1992, Andy formed a separate company called All Area Fire & Rescue (often shortened to All Area Sales) which you might be familiar with as a dealer of Braun ambulances to the New York and Vermont areas. In 8 short years, the company was named a Braun Gold Dealer.

In 2004, the group acquired Riteway Truck and Collision and received an All Area Award for custom painting in the industry.A well known and established company called Nassau Fire Apparatus was purchased in 2006. The company is a leader in emergency vehicle sales, maintenance, fabrication, and restoration. Today, we continue to operator all of these leading edge companies under the one name, Nassau Fire Apparatus.
